Kleenex. Crock Pot. Google. Frisbee. Chapstick. Q-Tips.

What happens when consumers are used to calling an item one thing, but you need them to call it another? You issue a written order with the hope of stopping them in their tracks. Velcro Companies did just that, but with a next-level execution: A musical cease and desist letter. 

A fun and memorable call to arms, #DontSayVelcro was born. We helped a group of lawyers demand consumers refer to their shoe-fastening device by its proper name, "hook and loop," and not by Velcro Companies’ proper name. 

And it worked.
